Fatigue marker

The Saga fatigue marker has had some more work done

Just need to add some spilt beer!
I haven't quite worked out how i will do that yet though.
I've not touched the Bondi this week.

Great War British Artillery Crew wip part 5

I've finished the troops & need to find out exactly what to do about the bases,
as I'm not painting the guns for them.
The flesh on the officers has been sarted with a mixture of manufactures paints there's 3 layers & 1 wash on them so far! I'll hopefully get the flesh finished tonight.

Bondi wip part 3

Finished painting the base of the shields, just the distressing to do

I forgot to say that I'm very impressed with the Madder red triad from Foundry,
Its the only one of their triads that i own & i think it works really well

Great War British Artillery Crew wip part 4

Here's a quick update on the BEF gun crew

I've not done a great deal this week, finished the puttees,
hoses on the gas masks & braces.

Bondi wip part 2

I've done some work on the Bondi for my Saga Warband

Different flesh recipe to the BEF though,
These are done with the 3 panzer aces flesh colours in about 5 layers.
The red on the sheilds is madder red triad from foundry (still one more layer to go on that though & a few washes)
They do make a nice change from ww1

Great War British Artillery Crew wip part 3

Here's the latest wip photo

Helmets & webbing on the crew have been done & the puttees started.
the uniforms on the Officers have been finished.
I just need to tidy them up & do all the Rank markings, but I will paint the flesh first.

I think I will finish the Flesh on the Bondi next though

Great War British Artillery Crew wip part 2

I've finished the flesh with the foundry set.
I still wasn't happy with it before the last two highlights were done, so I gave the flesh a wash with a mixture green & brown to tone it down a bit & I’m much happier with it.
I think in future I will add a touch of green grey to the paint.

The eyes were painted in dark brown, white and a dark brown pupil.
I usually use a darker brown but thought I would try a slightly different colour which I think works better. A wash of Luftwaffe uniform blue grey was also added over the chin & cheeks for a bit of 5 o'clock shadow.
At the bottom left is another Saga fatigue marker that I keep working on.
This one will be Vikingr that has over done the beer & feeling a bit sick!

Imperial Guard Manticore Conversion

Well over the Christmas Holiday I didn't manage to pick up a
Brush or even start a project that I Intended!

I did manage to start something for my Imperial Guard Army though!
I've not touched this Army for years (It was featured in White Dwarf 266 in its earliest incarnation) & my mate Craig is going to use it at The Vapnartak 40k Tournament in Feb.
anyway here's a wip, the weapons are just tacked on to get a feel of the overall look of it, not a great picture though. I've added more detail & filled the gaps properley since this photo.
I just need to add a few more rivets & maybe another vision slit on the passenger side.

As all the vehicles in my Army are based on Landspeeders,
I have used a Sace Marine Scout Landspeeder Storm as the basis,
which makes life much easier as i dont have to cut a speeder in half as i had to on these below.
